I-Con Universal Polytechnic, Osogbo is a private institution. It was established in November, 2015. The institution, which is situated at KM 4, Gbongan-Ibadan Road, Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, was founded by a United State of America-based business tycoon and journalist of international repute, Mr. Ibrahim Adeoti.

The Polytechnic has been approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) with eight (8) courses at present which it looks forward to increasing forthwith. Besides, the institution, after being approved by the NBTE has also been recognized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB)?
I-Con Universal Polytechnic, Osogbo has two faculties with at least two departments each. These faculties are:

1. Faculty of Science and Engineering (FS) with five departments namely: Statistics Computer Science Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology Computer Engineering Technology Science Laboratory Technology

2. Faculty of Management Science (FMS) Accountancy Business Administration Mass Communication
The National Diploma Students (Full-Time) are expected to spend a minimum of two academic sessions comprising of four semesters and maximum of four academic sessions comprising of eight semesters.

On the other hand, part-time National Diploma students are to spend a minimum of three academic sessions comprising of six semesters and a maximum of six academic sessions.
1. Admission of candidates into the National Diploma (Full-Time) Programmes is through the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board. Prospective students are expected to have written the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), scored the approved minimum number of marks in the specified subject combination and passed the screening conducted by the I-con Universal Polytechnic. The minimum entry requirement is Five Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects relevant to the student’s proposed course of study.
